THERAPY FOR THE COMPLICATED STUFF

You don't have to have it all figured out before you ask for help.

It’s crazy out there. The expectations. The pressure. Patterns that just keep repeating and weighing you down. It can feel impossible to find your footing, and the right path forward.

MAYBE YOU RECOGNISE YOURSELF HERE

There is room for things to feel different

Sometimes the things bringing us to therapy aren't easy to put into words. You might know something isn't working, but not know exactly what needs to change.

Bethanie created a space where I felt genuinely understood. I finally felt like I had the tools to make sense of what I was experiencing.

THERAPY PATHWAYS

Support for the parts of life that don't come with easy answers.

Individual Therapy

A space to understand yourself, make sense of what you're experiencing, and work towards meaningful change. Individual therapy is a collaborative space to make sense of your experiences, work through difficult patterns and build practical skills for change. Whether you're navigating trauma, ADHD, complex mental health or feeling stuck, therapy starts where you are.

You don't need to have all the answers before you start. We can work that out together.

Group Therapy

Couples Counselling

Understand the pattern. Find each other again.

Relationships can get stuck in patterns that are difficult to break, even when you both care deeply about each other. Couples counselling creates space to breathe, understand what is happening beneath the issue, and learn how to respond to each other differently.

Together, we’ll look beyond who’s right and who’s wrong to understand the patterns you’ve fallen into — whether you’re struggling with communication, recurring arguments, emotional disconnection, intimacy, trust or simply feeling like you’ve lost your way back to each other.

You don't have to work through it alone.

There can be something powerful about being in a room with people who understand parts of what you're going through.

Group therapy provides a structured, supportive space to learn, reflect and connect with others experiencing similar challenges. Depending on the group, sessions may combine therapeutic education, practical skills, guided discussion and opportunities to learn from shared experiences.

Social Work Supervision

Social work can be complex. Supervision is a space to step out of the day-to-day, reflect on your practice and have somewhere to bring the cases, decisions and experiences that stay with you.

My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective and grounded in both clinical practice and the realities of social work. We can explore complex cases, clinical decision-making, ethical dilemmas, professional boundaries, risk, documentation, vicarious impact and your development as a practitioner.

Space to think. Reflect. Grow.

AREAS OF FOCUS

Support for the complicated stuff

From trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, emotional regulation, personality and complex mental health, anxiety, burnout, relationships, parenting and life transitions. Our specialties are for the parts of life that feel complicated, messy or hard to put into words.

Parenting & Adolescence

Support for teenagers and the people raising them through big emotions, difficult behaviour, school challenges, identity, family conflict and the ups and downs of growing up. We provide a space for young people to feel understood, while helping parents better understand what’s happening and how to support them.

Anxiety & Stress

Therapy for anxiety, chronic stress and overwhelm. We’ll look at what’s keeping you on edge, understand the thoughts and patterns driving it, and build practical ways to manage difficult emotions, quiet the mental noise and feel more in control.

Trauma & EMDR

For when experiences continue to affect you long after they’ve happened. We work together to understand what happened, how it has shaped the way you think, feel and respond, and develop a greater sense of safety and control. We utilise evidence based, body centred strategies to help you process trauma and reclaim your life.

Neurodivergence

Losing track of time. Knowing what needs to be done but struggling to start. Overthinking, emotional overwhelm, sensory overload, burnout, or feeling like you’re constantly playing catch-up. We can help you understand your own patterns, work with the way your brain functions and find strategies that make everyday life feel more manageable.

Depression

Depression can look different for everyone. Feeling flat or disconnected, losing interest in things you used to enjoy, struggling to get through the day, withdrawing from people, or feeling like you’re running on empty. We help you reconnect to yourself with a sense of energy and purpose.

Relationships & Connection

Relationships can bring out the best in us - and sometimes the hardest parts of us. We can help you understand the patterns playing out between you, communicate more openly, work through conflict and build relationships that feel safer, more connected and more fulfilling.

Emotional Regulation

Feeling overwhelmed, reacting more strongly than you’d like, struggling to calm down once you’re upset, or finding yourself caught in cycles of anger, anxiety, shame or impulsivity. We can help you understand what’s behind those reactions, build skills to manage intense emotions and respond in ways that feel more in line with who you want to be.

Somatic

Sometimes stress, trauma and difficult experiences show up in the body as tension, restlessness, feeling on edge, shutting down or feeling disconnected from yourself. Somatic work brings attention to these physical responses, helping you notice what your body is communicating and develop a greater sense of safety, regulation and connection.

YOUR THERAPIST

A therapist who gets it

Therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about what’s actually going on. I bring clinical experience, evidence-based practice and a genuine understanding of how complicated life can be. My approach is warm, direct and collaborative, with space for both the hard stuff and the practical work of figuring out what to do next,

FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

We offer couples counselling, individual therapy, and supervision for social workers or social work students! We also run groups and provide group therapy when this is requested. We are also available to support families or those requiring a listening ear in a larger group.

How do I get started?

2

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way!

Are appointments necessary?

3

Yes. All sessions are by appointment so we can make sure you have dedicated time and space for your therapy. You can book directly online or get in touch if you’re unsure which appointment is right for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

4

We require 48 business hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less notice, or missed appointments, may incur a cancellation fee.

How do I get in contact with you?

5

The easiest way is to send an enquiry through the contact form or book an appointment online. If you have questions about whether therapy is right for you, what you’d like support with or which service to book, you’re welcome to get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.
